For Windows XP and WINDOWS 7 the terminal program "DIGSI Terminal" is available on the
included CD/DVD as well as in the Internet under www.siemens.com/siprotec.
After starting of the program, this is self-explanatory.
- select COM-Port
- set baud-rate as well as the data format
- press the button "connect
Out-put of the modem settings after entering AT&V.
Note: Entered characters are not displayed. To enable this, the "Echo" has to be
activated with the command "ATE1" on the connected device such as for example a
modem.
