• Screw holes for the rackmount brackets have already been made at the factory
along the side of the unit chassis.
Front mounting is also possible. To do this, install the rackmount bracket

to the left side of the SDM-8400 chassis when viewed from the front.
Screw the other rackmount bracket to the right side of the SDM-8400 chassis, using
2 small Phillips screws and 2 washers.

Carefully insert the SDM-8400 unit with the attached brackets into a standard 19"
equipment rack.
Secure the front of each bracket onto the rack using 2 mounting screws with cap locks
on each side.
