Troubleshooting Information (cont.)
Symptoms
1. Toilet does not flush.
2. Automatic flush does
not work.
3. There is no water flow
to the toilet.
4. The toilet flushes
unexpectedly.

Probable Causes
A. Toilet is blocked.
B. Remote control is not linked to
the toilet.
C. Remote control is not working.
D. The trapway valve is not
opening or has an obstruction.
A. Automatic flush is not enabled.
B. User is a small child.
A. Water supply is not turned on.
A. Automatic flush is enabled.
B. The overflow sensor is activated.
Recommended Action
A. Open the trapway valve manually using
the remote control; select [settings] >
[cleaning] >[manual clean] >[open bowl
valve]. Use a plunger to remove the
blockage. For extreme blockage, a snake
may be used.
B. Call the Customer Care Center using the
information provided at the back cover.
A. Reconnect the toilet using the remote
control and selecting; [settings] >
[maintenance] > [learn remote control],
then following the directions on the
remote control screen.

A. Use the remote control to open and close
the trapway several times by selecting;
[settings] > [cleaning] > [manual clean] >
[open bowl valve] > [close] repeatedly.
A. Use the remote control to enable automatic
flush by selecting; [settings] > [feature
settings] > [flushing] > [auto flush].
A. The automatic flush feature requires a
sensor in the ring to be activated. Children
less than 122cm (48") may not activate this
sensor. Flush the toilet using the remote
control.
A. Turn on the main water supply.
A. When automatic flush is enabled, the toilet
will flush six seconds after the user stands
up. To disable the automatic flush, on the
remote control select; [settings] > [feature
settings] > [flushing] > [auto flush]. The
check mark and [auto flush] will appear
grey when the feature is disabled.
A. No action is needed if occurrence of the
toilet flushing by itself is isolated. When
the overflow sensor is activated it will
automatically flush the toilet to lower the
water level.
B. If unexpected flushing occurs repeatedly
call the Customer Care Center using the
information provided at the back cover.
