The oil p re s s u re at idle sp e e d may
d ro p to 0.3 bar (4.4 psi) if th e engine
is at o p e ra tin g te m p e ra tu re . This w ill
n o t je o p a rd ize its op e ra tio n a l re lia b il­
ity.

If the in d ic a to r lam p c o m e s on w ith
th e e n gine ru n n in g and at o p e ra tin g
te m p e ra tu re , th e en gine oil level has
d ro p p e d to a p p ro x im a te ly th e m in i­
m um m ark on th e d ip s tic k . W hen th is
o c c u rs , th e in d ic a to r lam p w ill firs t
c o m e on in te rm itte n tly and th e n stay
on if th e oil level d ro p s fu rth e r. If no oil
leaks are n o te d and th e re is no lo ss in
e n gine oil pre s su re , c o n tin u e to drive
to th e n e a re st service sta tio n w h ere
th e e n gine o il s h o u ld be to p p e d to th e
" fu ll" m ark o f th e d ip s tic k (page 76).
In a d d itio n to th e in d ic a to r lam p, the
e n gine oil level s h o u ld be pe rio d ica lly
ch e c k e d w ith th e d ip s tic k , fo r e xa m ­
ple d u rin g a fu e l sto p , o r b e fo re a long
trip (see page 76).

The lig h t fa ilu re in d ic a to r c o m e s on

it in d ica te s a lig h t failure.
If an e x te rio r lig h t fails, th e in d ic a to r
w ill co m e on o n ly w h e n th a t light is
s w itc h e d on.

th e tu rn signal and stay on until the
e n gine is tu rn e d off.
