The rear w in d o w d e fro s te r uses a
large a m o u n t o f po w e r. To kee p the
b a tte ry drain to a m in im um , tu rn off
th e d e fro s te r as so o n as th e w in d o w
is clear. The d e fro s te r is a u to m a tica lly
tu rn e d o ff a fte r a m axim um o f 20 m i­
n u te s o f o p e ra tio n . Heavy a c cu m u la ­
tio n o f s n o w and ice sh o u ld be
rem o ved b e fo re a ctiv a tin g th e d e fro s ­
ter.
If several p o w e r c o n s u m e rs are
tu rn e d on sim u lta n e o u sly, o r th e b a t­
te ry is only p a rtially cha rge d, it is p o s ­
sib le th a t th e d e fro s te r w ill a u to m a ti­
cally tu rn its e lf off. W hen th is hap­
