The user or owner of this system shall be liable for any injury or property damage
resulting from operation not in accordance with the instructions supplied, or
maintenance/modifications carried out by unauthorized persons.

NDICATIONS
The SULLIVAN
of patients who have restrictive or obstructive respiratory disorders and require
non-continuous ventilatory support. Examples of such respiratory disorders are
obstructive sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, neuromuscular
and chest wall diseases.
C
ONTRAINDICATIONS
The VPAP II and II ST should PQV be used in cases of severe respiratory failure
where intubation is judged to be immediately necessary.
VPAP therapy should be used with caution in the following cases:
Existing respiratory failure
Emphysematous bullae, pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum or past history
of the above (indicating risk of pneumothorax or further baro-trauma)
