SYMPTOMS
Lifting straps are twisted and do not
straighten out.
Ceiling hoist does not traverse the rails.
Ceiling hoist emits excessive noise when
activated.
Ceiling hoist will not charge
No indicator light on hoist

Lifting hooks do not turn freely enough
Straps are frayed
Rails require service or cleaning
Trolley worn or damaged (Robin® only)
Driving wheels worn or damaged (Robin®
Mover only)
Hand control defective (Robin® Mover
only)
Bearings, gearwheels or motor defective
System has no power
System has no power or battery is
discharged
SOLUTION
Clean or replace the hooks. Contact an
Invacare representative or specialized
dealer for service.
Contact an Invacare representative or
specialized dealer to replace the straps.
Contact an Invacare representative or
specialized dealer for service.
Trolley must be replaced. Contact an
Invacare representative or specialized
dealer for service.
Driving wheels must be adjusted. Contact
an Invacare representative or specialized
dealer for service.
Replace the hand control.
The hoist must be replaced. Contact an
Invacare representative or specialized
dealer for service.
Check that the power supply is switched
on and connected to the charging station.
Contact an Invacare representative or
specialized dealer for service.
Check that the ceiling hoist has power
supply and that the battery is recharged.
Place the hand control in the charging
station and recharge the ceiling hoist.
