Subscribing handset in DECT system

About this task
To subscribe to a DECT system manually, you require the PARK: (Portable Access Right Key) and
AC: (Authentication Code) related to the system.
Procedure
1. Press Menu.
2. Select Connections.
3. Select System.
4. Select Subscribe.
The system displays:
• IPDI: A unique code that is assigned to the handset.
• User ID.
5. Press Next.
6. (Optional) In the System name field, enter the system name.
If you do not enter the system name, the default name is used. For example, System A,
System B.
7. Press Next.
8. Enter PARK code (max. 31 digits). The PARK code is not required if there is no alien
DECT system within the coverage area.
9. Enter AC code. The AC code length must be between 4 - 8 digits.
10. Press Next.
The system displays the Protection on? message.
11. To protect the new system, select Yes.
Note:
You cannot delete a protected system using the System menu. The unsubscription
must be made using the Admin menu or the DECT system.
12. Press OK.
A searching mode starts.
