3.6 Output Interface Module Installation
The output interface module is designed to provide alarm, trouble events and status signals to external devices such as
long range wireless monitoring transmitters, CCTV systems, home-automation systems and LED annunciation panels
(for further details see the output interface module Installation Instructions).
The output interface module provides 5 solid state relay contact outputs and is designed to be used as a plug-in
internal add-on module with the WP8033 control panel.
Mount the output interface module as shown in Figure 3.6.
1. Press downward on the output interface module (C), located in the back panel, between its 2 clips.
2. Connect the output interface module flat cable (F) to the front panel receptacle (marked "IP") and to the flat cable
receptacle of the output interface module (G).
Caution! The connector with strain relief clip (F1) is for the front unit – do not connect it to the back unit!
Notes:
The output interface module will be active only if the output interface module option was enabled in the control panel
(see section 4.7.6, "PGM Output Configuration".
For wiring instructions, refer to the output interface module Installation Instructions included in the module's package.
Caution! When mounting the output interface module it is strongly recommended to route the wiring cable (E) as
shown in Figure 3.6) to prevent interference which may occur if routed too close to the control panel antennas.
