2.3 Electrical networks
Procedure
1. In the stripping tool, use the green
knife cassette (5.1 mm).
2. If necessary, adjust the cutting
depth of the knife cassette using the
middle socket-head screw.
7. To strip the insulation, turn the tool
in the direction of the arrow
approx. 4 times for PVC
insulation
approx. 8 times for PUR
insulation.
11. Spread out the cores according to
their colors on the contact elements
of the FC RJ-45 plug.

3. Take the stripping tool in your right
hand.
4. Place the cable on the measuring
template.
Use your left index finger as the
limit stop.
8. Keeping the it closed, pull the
stripping tool with jacket and
remnants of the shield off the end of
the cable.
12. Insert the cores as far as they will
go into the contact elements of the
FC RJ-45 plug.
5. Place the cable in the stripping tool.
The index finger of your left hand is
the limit stop.
6. Tighten the stripping tool.
9. Remove the remaining white filler
and the transparent protective foil
with your fingers.
10. Cut off the dummy cores.
13. Push the cable into position (see
arrows).
14. Press the contact elements down
as far as the limit stop.
