Specifications
The Power Distribution Panel (PDP) is already pre-mounted on the rack frame and has
the specifications as given in the table below.

PDP specifications

Quantity / Size
Release 1.0 and 2.0:
• max. 2700 W
• 68 A circuit breakers must be used in the External
Battery and Fuse Bay (BDFB)
• 63 A circuit breakers (located on the power interfaces).
Release 2.1 and higher:
• max. 3500 W
• Circuit breakers ≥ 125 A must be used in the External
Battery and Fuse Bay (BDFB)
• 100 A circuit breakers are part of the subracks.
They are located on the power interfaces (PI/100) and are
designed to support a maximum rated current of 100 A
with a BS characteristic (medium delay). They provide
protection according to EN 60950 in the power range up
to 3500 W, in particular in the range of 87.5 – 48.6 A at
40 – 72 V.
Release 6.1 and higher:
"Breaker-less" PIs (PI/100 NOCB) can be used as an option.
In that case the subrack must be protected via an external
circuit breaker which can be located in the BDFB or on a
separate PDP. The current rating depends on the
configuration of the subrack.
-48 to -60 V battery voltages
(-40.5 V minimum, -72 V maximum)
3 power feeders (only 2 are necessary for one rack)
3 ground-connection points (only 2 are necessary for one
rack)
