Connection on the slot and I/O module
The following figure shows the connections on the terminal block/terminal module and the I/O
module.

You can find additional information on the pin assignment of the I/O module (terminal block) in
the documentation of the I/O module.
Introduction
The following terminals are located on the terminal blocks.
● Terminals for the supply voltage
– Light-colored terminal block:
– Dark-colored terminal block: Measure the supply voltage and extend it if necessary
● Process terminals
– The signal lines of sensors and actuators must be connected to the process terminals on

For the terminal block contacts (for maximum voltages and currents, refer to the documentation of

Only connect the supply voltage to a terminal block of the type TB..D.
