2.10 LAN Setup

This section describes how to configure the LAN using Menu 3 – LAN Setup (10/100Mbps
Ethernet). From the Main Menu, enter 3 to open Menu 3.

2.10.1 LAN Port Filter Setup

This menu allows you to specify the filter sets that you wish to apply to the LAN traffic. You
seldom need to filter the LAN traffic, however, the filter sets may be useful to block certain
packets, reducing traffic and preventing security breaches.
If you need to define filters, please read Chapter 6 – Filter Configuration then return to this
menu to apply the filter sets.
