Battery Power Level Indicator

About the Battery Level
• The battery power level indicator is used as a rough estimate of the remaining power.
Use this indicator as a guideline.
• The battery power level will vary depending on BHT operation, therefore the actual battery
voltage may differ from the battery power level indicator.
• Be sure to charge the battery promptly before the battery power runs out.

Battery Voltage Drop

The message on the right shows up for approximately 2 seconds and the beeper
sounds three times when the battery voltage drops to a level that requires charging
or battery replacement.
The message and beeper are briefly indicated to alert you only once when a key is
pressed or the touch screen is tapped while using the BHT. Then the BHT returns to
normal operation. Replace or charge the battery promptly.
If the BHT is left without charging the battery, the BHT may perform full-reset
automatically and data including files and settings stored in the RAM may be lost.
If the BHT is used without charging or replacing the battery after the above
message is shown, the battery voltage drops to a level that stops the BHT operation.
Then the screen on the right shows up, the beeper sounds five times, and the power
automatically turns OFF. (Depending on the battery level, this message may not
show up or the beeper may not sound five times.)
Replace or charge the battery immediately when this message shows up.
If the BHT is left without charging the battery, the BHT may perform full-reset
automatically and data including files and settings stored in the RAM may be lost.

The battery power level can be checked with the
level indicator) shown in the taskbar. The icon shows the battery power in four
levels.
These levels are only a rough estimate of battery power, make sure to charge
the battery before running out of power.
:The battery power is full.
: The battery power is partially used. Charging sooner is better.
: The battery power is low and should be charged immediately.
: The battery power is completely gone.
Charge immediately or replace with a fully charged battery.
Note: The taskbar in this manual varies from the actual BHT LCD screen.
