Receiving Paper in the Stacker
The stacker has two trays: the stacker tray and the stacker upper tray. The stack-
er tray allows you to load the maximum quantity of paper and to move the
prints using the handcart. You can use either the control panel or the printer
driver to configure the stacker's paper collection settings. For details about mak-
ing these settings using the control panel, see "Making Settings on the Control
Panel". For details about making these settings using the printer driver, see
"Making Settings from the Printer Driver".
Important
❒ When "Multi-job Output Method to Stacker" is set to [Do not Stack Jobs] in
[Output Tray Setting] under [System Settings], the receiving stacker tray is treat-
ed as full, regardless of the actual number of sheets it is holding, and the
Stacker Full Indicator lights red.

Stacker Capacity
You can configure the stacker's capacity settings. Specify a capacity level of 25%,
50%, 75%, or 100%. If you want to specify different percentages for the capacity
levels, contact your machine administrator or your service representative.
The following table shows the stacker's capacity levels (percentages) and corre-
sponding sheet counts.

❒ Sheet counts are estimates based on 80g/m
❒ If the paper size is small, you can place the same amount of paper for levels
1, 2, and 3 (2500 sheets). However, if you specify level 4, you can only set half
of this amount (1250 sheets).
❒ If a second stacker is installed, you cannot specify separate capacity levels for
the stackers.
