This diagram shows the wiring for the safety relay for the doors.
A risk analysis must be made for each type of machine in order to estimate the hazards for
personnel. In this example, the relay automatically picks up when the door is closed and
locked.
If there is a risk that a person may be confined in the machine, then the door relay must not
pick up automatically, but only after a conscious operator action. An escape route must also
exist for such cases.
