approximately two seconds and goes out.
● Turn the ignition switch to START.

● Perform "VIM CHECK" with Kia Power Scan
1 Tool
● Check if ICU status is "VIRGIN".
2 ● Check if the antenna coils are normal.
● Check if connection and wire harness

between ICU and antenna coils are normal.
● Turn the ignition switch to ON.
4 ● Observe if "IMMO" indicator illuminates for
approximately two seconds and goes out.
● Turn the ignition switch to OFF and
disconnect antenna coils connector from ICU.
● Perform limphome procedure with original

correct PIN.
● Observe if "IMMO" indicator blinks from 2Hz
to 0.5Hz.
● Turn the ignition switch to START. Does

engine start?
● Turn the ignition switch to OFF. Connect
antenna coils connector and perform "Key
Only Matching" procedures with original

correct PIN.
● Turn the ignition switch to START
● Does engine start?
