Troubleshooting
Preliminary check
Check "AUDIO (10A)" fuse. If open, check for short to ground though wire, replace fuse. In addition, check that all system
electrical connectors mated correctly.
Power mirrors do not operate.
Step
Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
Check for voltage at terminal A(O) of power

mirror switch connector L-01.
Is battery voltage present?
Check for continuity at terminal C(B) of power
2 mirror switch connector L-01 to ground.
Is continuity present?
Disconnect power mirror switch.
Check for continuity between terminals of power

mirror switch by pressing switch.
Is power mirror switch good?
Check for the wires between power mirror switch
4 and power mirror motors.
Is continuity present?
Circuit testing (Power window main switch)
1. Disconnect the power mirror switch.
2. Check for continuity between terminal as indicated.
3. If not as specified, replace the power window main switch assembly.
Inspection
Yes Go to next step
No Repair open or short in the wire "Y" or replace.
Yes Go to next step
Check for a poor connection at ground. If OK,
No
repair open in the wire "B" or replace.
Yes Go to next step
No Replace power mirror switch.
Check for a poor connection at power mirror
Yes
motor. If OK, replace power mirror motor.
Repair open or short in the wires between power
No
mirror switch and power mirror or replace.
