Reliable Electrical Isolation
Reliable electrical isolation is required with modules that are powered with voltages
≤ DC 60 V or ≤ AC 25 V, in other words, the power supply of the ET 200iS must be
reliably electrically isolated.
Setting up the ET 200iS with a Grounded Reference Potential
When the ET 200iS distributed I/O station is configured with a grounded reference
potential, any interference currents are diverted to the grounding conductor.
