To operate the turn signals, move the
combination switch past the point of
resistance (up or down). The switch is
automatically cancelled when the
steering wheel is turned to a large
enough degree.
To signal m inor directional changes,
such as changing lanes on a highway,
move com bination sw itch to the point
of resistance only and hold it there.

When the washer system is a cti­
vated, the wipers also operate fo r
a limited time.
The reservoir, hoses, and nozzles
of the w indshield washer and
headlamp cleaning system are
automatically heated.

II Normal w iper speed
III Fast w iper speed
Note:
If one of the turn signals fails, the turn
signal indicator system flashes and
sounds at a faster rate than normal. In
addition, the light failure indicator will
come on.
If the w indshield w ipers smear the
w indshield, even during rain, activate
the washer system as often as neces­
sary. The fluid in the washer reservoir
should be mixed in the corre ct ratio.

Mixing ratio
For tem peratures above fre e zin g :
MB W indshield Washer Concentrate
" S " and water
1 part " S " to 100 parts water
(40 ml " S " to 1 gallon water).
For tem peratures below freezing:
MB W indshield Washer Concentrate
" S " and com m ercially available pre­
mixed w indshield washer solvent/
anti-freeze
1 part " S " to 100 parts solvent
(40 ml " S " to 1 gallon solvent).
