Viewing a recording on the TV
If your TV or VCR is a monaural
type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video input jack and the white or the
red plug to the audio input jack on the VCR or
the TV.
If you connect the white plug, the sound is L
(left) signal. If you connect the red plug, the
sound is R (right) signal.
If your TV/VCR has a 21-pin
connector (EUROCONNECTOR)
The models with
bottom surfaces only
Use the 21-pin adaptor supplied with your
camcorder.
This adaptor is exclusive to an output.
If the equipment to be connected has an S
video jack
•Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional). With this
connection, you do not need to connect the
yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect the S video cable (optional) to the S
video jacks on both your camcorder and the
equipment to be connected.
This connection produces higher quality DV
format pictures.
•The sound is not output on the other equipment
if your camcorder is connected with an S video
cable (optional) only. Use the A/V connecting
cable along with an S video cable.
To display the screen indicators on the TV
Set DISPLAY in
settings (p. 233). To make the screen indicators
disappear, press DISPLAY/BATT INFO on your
camcorder.

Si votre téléviseur ou
magnétoscope est
monophonique
Raccordez la fiche jaune du cordon de liaison
audio/vidéo à la prise d'entrée vidéo et la fiche
blanche ou la fiche rouge à la prise d'entrée
audio du magnétoscope ou du téléviseur.
Si vous raccordez la fiche blanche, vous
entendrez le son du canal gauche (L). Si vous
raccordez la fiche rouge, vous entendrez le son
du canal droit (R).
Si votre téléviseur/
magnétoscope possède un
connecteur 21 broches
(EUROCONNECTOR)
Uniquement les modèles comportant le logo
imprimé sous l'appareil
Utilisez l'adaptateur 21 broches fourni avec le
caméscope.
Cet adaptateur concerne une seule sortie.
Si l'appareil à raccorder possède une prise S
vidéo
•Les images seront reproduites plus fidèlement
si vous utilisez un câble S vidéo (en option).
Avec cette liaison, vous n'avez pas besoin de
brancher la fiche jaune (vidéo) du cordon de
liaison audio/vidéo.
Raccordez le câble S vidéo (en option) aux
prises S vidéo du caméscope et de l'appareil à
raccorder.
Cette liaison produit des images au format DV
d'excellente qualité.
•Le son n'est pas émis par l'autre appareil si le
caméscope est raccordé avec un câble S vidéo
(en option) uniquement. Utilisez le cordon de
liaison audio/vidéo avec le câble S vidéo.
Pour afficher les indicateurs sur le téléviseur
Réglez DISPLAY sur V-OUT/LCD sous
les paramètres du menu (p. 243). Pour faire
disparaître les indicateurs, appuyez sur la touche
DISPLAY/BATT INFO du caméscope.
