Playing back a video CD
You can play back the video CD you made on a
DVD player or on a computer equipped with a
DVD drive.
To play back a Video CD on the computer,
application software that supports a Video CD
needs to be installed in it.
You can play back a Video CD using the
Windows Media Player. However, you may not
be able to play back a Video CD depending on
your computer environment including Operating
Systems or hardware. Menu functions of the
Windows Media Player do not function.
(1) Start up the Windows Media Player.
Windows XP:
Select "Start" t "All Programs" t
"Accessories" t "Entertainment," and click
the "Windows Media Player."
Other Operating Systems:
Select "Start" t "Programs" t
"Accessories" t "Entertainment," and click
the "Windows Media Player."
(2) Select "My computer" t "CD-R", and click
"MPEGAV" folder, then drag and drop the
moving picture file "sss*.DAT" onto the
screen of the Windows Media Player. The
moving picture is played back.
* The file number is displayed in the sss.
Maximum recording time on a video CD is
about one hour.
Easy Video CD divides the images to be captured
into about 4 GB and captures each of the divided
files every ten minutes due to the specifications
of the AVI format. A few seconds of images may
drop out at the jointed part between the divided
files when playing back the recorded files.

Lecture d'un CD vidéo
Vous pouvez lire le CD vidéo créé sur un lecteur
DVD ou un ordinateur équipé d'un lecteur DVD.
Pour lire un CD vidéo sur l'ordinateur, un
logiciel d'application supportant les CD vidéo
doit être installé.
Vous pouvez lire un CD vidéo à l'aide de Lecteur
Windows Media. Toutefois, il est possible que
vous ne puissiez pas lire un CD vidéo selon
l'environnement informatique tels que le système
d'exploitation ou le matériel. Les fonctions de
menu de Lecteur Windows Media sont
inopérantes.
(1) Démarrez Lecteur Windows Media.
Windows XP :
Sélectionnez « Start » (démarrer) t « All
Programs » (Programmes) t « Accessories »
(Accessoires) t « Entertainment »
(Divertissement) et cliquez sur « Windows
Media Player » (Lecteur Windows Media).
Autres systèmes d'exploitation :
Sélectionnez « Start » (démarrer) t
« Program » (Programme) t « Accessories »
(Accessoires) t « Entertainment »
(Divertissement) et cliquez sur « Windows
Media Player » (Lecteur Windows media).
(2) Sélectionnez « My Computer » (poste de
travail) t "CD-R", puis cliquez sur le dossier
« MPEGAV » et déplacez le fichier d'image
animée « sss*.DAT » sur l'écran de Lecteur
Windows Media. L'image animée est
reproduite.
* Le numéro de fichier est affiché dans sss.
La durée d'enregistrement maximale sur un
CD vidéo est d'environ une heure.
La fonction Easy Video CD divise les images à
capturer en fichiers de 4 Go environ et capture
chacun des fichiers divisés toutes les 10 minutes
en raison des spécifications liées au format AVI.
Il est possible que quelques secondes d'image
soient perdues au niveau de la jointure entre les
fichiers divisés lors de la lecture des fichiers
enregistrés.
