"InfoLITHIUM" battery
pack
This unit is compatible with the "InfoLITHIUM"
battery pack (M series). Your camcorder operates
only with the "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack.
"InfoLITHIUM" M series battery packs have the
mark.

What is the "InfoLITHIUM" battery
pack?
The "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack is a lithium-ion
battery pack that has functions for
communicating information related to operating
conditions between your camcorder and an
optional AC adaptor/charger.
The "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack calculates the
power consumption according to the operating
conditions of your camcorder, and displays the
remaining battery time in minutes. With an AC
adaptor/charger (optional), the remaining
battery time and charging time appear.
Charging the battery pack
•Be sure to charge the battery pack before you
start using your camcorder.
•We recommend charging the battery pack in an
ambient temperature of between
10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F) until the CHARGE
(charge) lamp turns off. If you charge the
battery outside of this temperature range, you
may not be able to efficiently charge the battery
pack.
•After charging is complete, either disconnect
the cable from the DC IN jack on your
camcorder or remove the battery pack.
Effective use of the battery pack
•Battery pack performance decreases in 10°C
(50°F) or below surroundings. So, the time that
the battery pack can be used becomes shorter.
We recommend the following to ensure longer
battery pack use:
– Put the battery pack in a pocket to warm it up,
and insert it in your camcorder immediately
before you start taking shots.
– Use the large capacity battery pack
(NP-FM70/QM71/QM71D/FM91/QM91/
QM91D, optional).

Qu'est-ce que la batterie
« InfoLITHIUM » ?
Une batterie « InfoLITHIUM » est une batterie au
ion-lithium qui peut échanger des informations
sur son état de charge avec un chargeur/
adaptateur secteur en option.
La batterie « InfoLITHIUM » calcule la
consommation d'électricité du caméscope et son
autonomie en fonction des conditions
d'utilisation ; ce temps est affiché en minutes.
Avec un chargeur/adaptateur secteur (en
option), l'autonomie de la batterie et le temps de
recharge sont affichés.
Recharge de la batterie
•Veillez à recharger la batterie avant d'utiliser le
caméscope.
•Il est recommandé de charger la batterie à une
température ambiante comprise entre 10 °C et
30 °C (50 °F et 86 °F) jusqu'à ce que le témoin
CHARGE (charge) s'éteint. Hors de cette plage
de température, la batterie ne se recharge pas
efficacement.
•Lorsque la recharge est terminée, débranchez le
câble de la prise DC IN du caméscope ou retirez
la batterie.

maintenir au chaud et l'insérer seulement au
moment de filmer.
– utiliser une batterie grande capacité (NP-
FM70/QM71/QM71D/FM91/QM91/
QM91D, en option).
