Recording a moving picture
from external equipment
Before operation
Set DISPLAY to LCD in the menu settings. (The
default setting is LCD.)
(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR.
(2) Play back the recorded tape, or turn the TV on
to see the desired programme.
The picture of the other equipment is
displayed on the LCD screen or viewfinder.
(3) Follow the procedure on page 192 from step 3
onwards at the point where you want to start
recording from.
Using the A/V connecting cable
VCR
: Signal flow/Signalflöde
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video jack on the VCR or the TV.
If your TV or VCR has an S video jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional).
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S video
jacks of both your camcorder and the TV or VCR.

Innan du börjar
Ställ DISPLAY på LCD i menyinställningarna.

(1) Ställ POWER-omkopplaren på VCR.
(2) Spela upp det inspelade bandet, eller slå på
TVn med det önskade programmet.
Bilden från den andra utrustningen visas på
LCD-skärmen eller i sökaren.
(3) Följ proceduren på sidan 192 från steg 3 och
framåt vid den punkt som du vill starta
inspelningen från.
Använda A/V-kabeln
S VIDEO
Anslut den gula kontakten på A/V-kabeln till
videokontakten på videobandspelaren eller TVn.
Om TVn eller videobandspelaren har en S-
videokontakt
Bilderna kan återges med högre kvalitet om du
använder en S-videokabel (tillval).
Med den här anslutningen behöver du inte
ansluta A/V-kabelns gula kontakt (video).
Anslut en S-videokabel (tillval) till S-
videokontakten på både videokameran och TVn
eller videobandspelaren.
