computer

For Windows users

Recommended Windows environment
OS: Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 98SE,
Windows Me, Windows 2000 Professional,
Windows XP Home Edition or Windows
XP Professional standard installation is
required.
However, operation is not assured if the
above environment is an upgraded OS.
CPU: MMX Pentium 200 MHz or faster
The USB connector must be provided as
standard.
Windows Media Player must be installed (to play
back moving pictures).
Installing the USB driver
Before connecting your camcorder to your
computer, install the USB driver on the
computer. The USB driver is packaged together
with application software for viewing images on
the CD-ROM supplied with your camcorder.
If you installed the USB driver in "Viewing
images recorded on a tape on your computer"
(p. 126), start from step 5.
For Windows XP users
The USB driver needs not be installed. Your
computer is automatically recognized as a driver
just by connecting your computer using the USB
cable.
For Windows 98/98SE/Me, Windows 2000
Professional users
If you are using Windows 2000 Professional, log
in with permission of administrator.
Start the following operation without
connecting the USB cable to your
computer.
Connect the USB cable in step 6.
If the USB driver has been registered
incorrectly because your computer was
connected to your camcorder before
installation of the USB driver was completed.
Reinstall the USB driver following the
procedure on page 210.

USB-drivrutinen finns på CD-ROM-skivan som
följde med videokameran. CD-ROM-skivan
innehåller även programvara för visning av
bilder.
Om du har installerat USB-drivrutinen under
"Visa bilder som finns inspelade på band på en
dator" (sid. 126) startar du från steg 5.
För användare av Windows XP
Du behöver inte installera USB-drivrutinen.
Datorn blir automatiskt identifierad som en
enhet i och med att du ansluter datorn med USB-
kabeln
För användare av Windows 98/98SE/Me eller
Windows 2000 Professional
Använder du Windows 2000 Professional loggar
du in som administratör.
Gör som följer utan att ha anslutit USB-
kabeln till datorn.
Anslut USB-kabeln i steg 6.
Om USB-drivrutinen inte har registrerats
korrekt eftersom datorn anslöts till
videokameran innan installationen av USB-
drivrutinen var färdig. Installera om USB-
drivrutinen genom att följa proceduren på
sidan 210.
