On the lens
If moisture condenses on the lens, no indicator
appears, but the picture becomes dim. Turn off
the power and do not use the camcorder for
about 1 hour.
How to prevent moisture
condensation
When bringing the camcorder from a cold place
to a warm place, put the camcorder in a plastic
bag and allow it to adapt to room conditions over
a period of time.
(1) Be sure to tightly seal the plastic bag
containing the camcorder.
(2) Remove the bag when the air temperature
inside it has reached the temperature
surrounding it (after about 1 hour).

Video head cleaning

To ensure normal recording and clear pictures,
clean the video heads. When the v indicator and
" CLEANING CASSETTE" message appear
one after another in the viewfinder or playback
pictures are "noisy" or hardly visible, the video
heads may be dirty.

If this happens, clean the video heads with the
Sony V8-25CLH cleaning cassette (not supplied).
After checking the picture, if it is still "noisy,"
repeat the cleaning. (Do not repeat cleaning more
than 5 times in one session.)

Sobre el objetivo
Si se condensa humedad en el objetivo, no
aparecerá ningún indicador y la imagen se
atenuará. Desactive la alimentación y no emplee
la videocámara durante 1 hora
aproximadamente.
Cómo evitar la condensación de
humedad
Cuando traslade la videocámara de un lugar frío
a otro cálido, introdúzcala en una bolsa de
plástico y deje que se adapte a las condiciones de
la sala durante algún tiempo.
(1) Asegúrese de cerrar herméticamente la bolsa
de plástico.
(2) Retire la bolsa cuando la temperatura de su
interior haya alcanzado la temperatura que la
rodea (después de aproximadamente 1 hora).
Limpieza de los cabezales de
vídeo
Para garantizar grabaciones normales e imágenes
nítidas, limpie los cabezales de vídeo. Si el
indicador v y el mensaje " CLEANING
CASSETTE" aparecen uno detrás del otro en el
visor electrónico o si las imágenes de
reproducción presentan "ruido" o apenas
pueden verse, es posible que los cabezales de
vídeo estén sucios.

Si esto ocurre, limpie los cabezales de vídeo con
el cassette limpiador V8-25CLH de Sony (no
suministrado). Si la imagen presenta "ruido"
después de comprobarla, repita la limpieza. (No
realice la limpieza más de 5 veces en una misma
sesión.)
