1. Insert the cleaning card in the PINpad chip
card reader.

Cleaning the PINpad magnetic card reader

Complete the following steps to clean the PINpad magnetic card reader:
Swipe the cleaning card through the magnetic card reader. Hold the cleaning card in an upright
position and swipe at a constant speed. The cleaning card has two cleaning strips on both sides. The
best result is obtained when you swipe the cleaning card through the magnetic card reader twice,
without turning the card over.

2. Keep hold of the dark-grey section of the
card with one hand as depicted in the
above photograph. Then move the
transparent section back and forth several
times with your other hand.
