The Vx570 payment terminal is the cashier unit and is operated by you (the cashier).

Cover of thermal printer.
The thermal printer prints receipts and reports.
Press this button to release the printer cover.
The screen displays messages when actions are performed on the
payment terminal.
The chip card reader is not operational. The card holder must insert the
payment card in the VX 820 PINpad.
The magnetic card reader is not operational. The card holder must swipe
the payment card through the VX 820 PINpad.
