Clearing forgotten passwords

Procedure

1 Locate the password jumper (P215) on the system board.
For information on the location of the Password jumper, see
2 Remove the jumper plug from pins 215.
3 Follow the procedure from step 8 to step 9 in
4 Replace the left-side
5 Turn on your computer and wait until the operating system is completely loaded.
6 Shut down your computer.
7 Remove the left-side
8 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in
9 Replace the jumper plug on pins 215.

Flashing the BIOS

You may need to flash (update) the BIOS when an update is available or when you replace the system board.
Follow these steps to flash the BIOS:
1 Turn on your computer.
