Headset operation

Headset ringer

The headset charger and headset do not have external ringers.
When you receive calls, the telephone and the headset earpiece
rings.
To change the volume of the earpiece ringer:
Slide the volume switch at the top of the headset towards
X
VOL+ or VOL- when the headset is not in use.
To turn off the earpiece ringer:
Slide the volume switch at the top of the headset towards VOL-
X
until you hear two beeps when the headset is not in use.

Temporary ringer silencing

Press MUTE to temporarily silence the ringer in the headset
earpiece. This silences the ringer without disconnecting the call.
The next incoming call rings normally at the preset volume.

Call waiting

If you subscribe to call waiting service offered by your telephone
service provider, and someone calls you while you are already on
a call, you hear a call waiting alert tone.
Press down the + VOL - switch at
X
the top of the headset to put your
current call on hold and answer
the new call.
Press the + VOL - switch again at
X
any time to switch back and forth
between calls.
