9. Disconnect the air tube from the drain hose
fitting. Move the clamp up the tube and pull
the tube off.
10. Loosen clamp securing the drain hose to
the bottom of the tub and remove the hose.

11. Remove bearing house. (See page 3-60)
NOTe: The shaft is covered with grease. It
may be necessary to lift the shaft, and push,
to get the basket started out of the tub.
12. Place pallets on a pallet jack and position
them, so they are close to the bottom of the
outer tub, in front of the washer.

13. Pull the basket out of the front of the
washer onto the pallets. The shaft is
attached to the back of the basket.
n With the basket removed, the features
inside the outer tub can be seen.
n The thermistor is located near the bottom of
the back of the outer tub beside the capped
off hole for a drain plug.
n On the bottom of the tub are three heating
element supports. These would hold the
end of the elements and keep them from
warping up when they are heated.
n The drain is located in bottom center of tub.
n Near the top of the back is the vent hole. At
the right of the back, is the inlet for water
and chemicals.
