4.1 Basic Functions
These functions are part of the standard scope of the drive and can be used without requiring
an additional license. The Basic Functions comprise the following functions:
● Safe Torque Off (STO)
● Safe Brake Control (SBC)
● Safe Stop 1 time-controlled (SS1-t)
Functions STO and SS1-t are selected via the F-PLC and/or via the failsafe digital input.
In order to select the functions via the F-PLC, the communication must be configured in the F-
PLC via PROFIsafe.

The Safety Integrated Functions are executed with a safety monitoring cycle of 4 ms.
