3-A-3. If you select DELETE
1. When you press PUSH – SELECT at
DELETE, the following screen
appears.
2. You can enter the correct the FIPS
code. Rotate the Channel/Select
knob clockwise to increase the
number, counterclockwise to
decrease. The number will be
decided when PUSH – SELECT is
pressed, and the blinking digit moves
to the next digit.
After you selected either answer and press
PUSH – SELECT, it returns to the FIPS
menu screen.
Select the number that you want to delete,
and press PUSH – SELECT. When
confirmation screen appears, select the
either answer and press PUSH – SELECT.

A MMSI is a nine-digit number used on Marin Transceivers capable of
using Digital Selective Calling (DSC). This number is used like a
telephone number to selectively call other vessel.
