7. When sending either an URGENCY
or SAFETY message, both radios will
automatically move to channel 70
until all of the data is received.
8. After URGENCY or SAFETY All ships
call is transmitted, the transceiver will
switch to Channel 16. The user
should wait a few minutes before
transmitting the ALL Ships Call
information.
1-D. POS.REQUEST
This radio has the ability to request that the
position of the ship registered into
DIRECTORY.
1. Press Menu key
2. Press PUSH – SELECT at DSC
CALL, then the DSC CALL menu
appears.
3. Rotate the PUSH – SELECT knob to
select POS.REQUEST.
4. Press PUSH – SELECT, and the
individual directory appears.
5. Rotate the PUSH – SELECT knob to
select the name to request one's
position.
