4. PREPARE THE MACHINE

The machine can be used as both a blower and
a vacuum collector; for both of these uses it is
necessa ry to correctly arrange the appropriate
accesso ries included with the equipment.

the machine and its packaging, always mak-
ing use of suitable equipment.
Disposal of the packaging should be done in ac-
cordance with the local regulations in force.
1. TO USE AS A BLOWER (Fig. 1)
- Apply the safety grid (1) to the power unit (2),
n the position indicated, then turn it clockwise
towards the fastener screw and continue tighte
ning until firmly fastened to the system and the
safety switch is enabled.
– Align the blower tube (5) to the opening of the
power unit and push it to the end until it firmly
locks into place.
NOTE
the flat part of the blower chute is pointed towards
the ground.

5. PREPARING TO WORK

1. CHECKING THE MACHINE

Before starting work please:
– check that the mains frequency and voltage is
the same as the rating data on the "Identification
Plate" (see chap. 1 - 2.7).
– check that the switch lever moves freely with-
out being forced, and when released, it returns
automatically and quickly to the neutral position;
– check that the cooling air vents are not ob-
structed;
– check that the power cable and extension lead
are not damaged;
– check that handgrips and protection devices
are clean and dry, correctly mounted and well
fastened to the machine;
– check that the machine is not showing signs of
wear or damage due to knocks or other causes,

• To remove the blower tube (5) press the tab (6)
on the bottom part.
2. TO USE AS A VACUUM COLLECTOR
(Fig. 2)
Remove the safaty grid (if assembled) following
the assembly instructions in the reverse
Then:
– Align the compartment of the first vacuum tube
(1) with the protrusion (2) of the second tube
and push it to the end so that the two tubes are
firmly united.
Apply the upper part (with the handle) of the
first tube (1) to the power unit (3), in the position
indicated, then turn it clockwise towards the fa-
stener screw and continue tightening until firmly
fastened to the
– Align the bag fitting tube (6) to the opening of the
power unit and push it to the end until it firmly
locks into place.
– Fasten the clasp (7) of the bag to the specific
fitting (8) found on the second tube.
• To remove the bag, press the tab (9) on the
bottom part of the fitting tube and unfasten the
clasp (7).

– when used as a vacuum collector, make sure
the bag is integral, well-closed and that the zip-
per works correctly;
– prepare accessories according to the type of
work (as blower or vacuum collector) and make
sure they are correctly mounted;
