Detail—allows you to select the
amount of map data displayed on the
device.
note: Higher detail settings may cause
the map to redraw slowly.
Shaded Relief—shows detail relief
on the map (if available) or turns off
shading.
Routing Settings
From the main menu, select Setup >
Routing.
Guidance Method—allows you
to select a guidance method for
calculating your route.
Off Road—calculates point-topoint
routes.
On Road For Time (requires routable
maps)—calculates onroad routes that
require minimal time to drive.
On Road For Distance (requires

routable maps)— calculates on-road
routes that are shorter in distance.
Calculates Routes for—allows you to
select a transportation method in order
to optimize your route.
Lock On Road—locks the current
location marker on the nearest road,
compensating for variances in map
position accuracy (requires routable
maps).
Off Road Transitions
Auto—automatically routes you to the
next point.
Manual—allows you to select the next
point on the route by using the point on
the active route page.
Distance—routes you to the next point
on the route when you are within a
specified distance of your current point.
Avoidance Setup (requires routable
maps)—allows you to select the road
