Remedy:
Lift the system lock (refer to Sections 010-2.17 and 010-4.1) and switch on stop
& go.

System Lock Cannot Be Deactivated

Symptom:
The system lock cannot be deactivated by activating the lock $ touchpad.
Cause:
The secure system lock has been programmed via "three-finger lock" in
customer programming.
Remedy:
1. Deactivate the system lock by simultaneously activating the lock $ touchpad
and the plus + touchpads of the rear right and front right burners.
2. Or: Reprogram the cooktop for simple system lock (refer to Section 010-4.1).

System Lock Cannot Be Activated

Symptom:
The system lock cannot be activated. When the lock $ touchpad is activated, a
signal tone sounds.
Cause:
The appliance has been programmed for the secure system lock ("three-finger
lock") in customer programming. The cooktop can only be locked by touching
the lock $ touchpad and the plus + touchpads of the rear right and front right
burners.
Remedy:
1. Reprogram the appliance for simple system lock (refer to Section 010-4.1).
2. Or: Lock the cooktop by simultaneously touching the lock $ touchpad and
the plus + touchpads of the rear right and front right burners.
Cause:
Cooktop in "stop" mode of the stop & go function.
Remedy:
End the "stop" mode.

No Appliance Function/Induction Coil Charred

Symptom:
No appliance function. After removing the ceramic surface an undefinable odor
coming from the induction coil can be noted. The insulating material is
discolored. The induction coil looks scorched. The power electronic could also be
defective; see Section 010-3.56.
Cause:
Using pots/pans made out of an unsuitable material. An extremely concave
pot/pan base will hinder temperature sensor function. The induction coil
overheats. Sometimes this overheating can lead to short circuits in the induction
coil windings. This can also damage the power electronic.
