modification of previously set parameters.
It can be activated with the cooktop switched off or while it is in operation.
If the system lock is activated with the cooktop switched off, then it cannot be
switched on.
If the system lock is activated with the cooktop in operation, then the burner
power levels and timer settings cannot be modified. The burners and the cooktop
can, however, be switched off but not on again. The stop & go function cannot be
activated.
To activate the system lock, touch the lock touchpad $ for 5 seconds. Initial
contact is acknowledged by a tone. With the cooktop switched on and the stop &
go function activated, after 2 seconds two further acknowledgement tones sound.
After 5 seconds the dot LED above the lock touchpad $ lights up for 2 seconds,
and the system lock is in place.
To deactivate the system lock, touch the lock touchpad $ again for 5 seconds.
The dot LED above the lock touchpad $ lights up for 5 seconds and then goes
out. This lifts the system lock.

be programmed: The system lock is activated by simultaneously touching the
lock touchpad $ and the plus + touchpads for the rear right and front right
burners ("three-finger lock").

Fuse Tracks

Figure 010-6: Fuse Tracks on Filter/Control Electronics

To protect the filter/control electronics from too-high voltage, there is a fuse track
for each electronic. In the event of a fault, e.g., a short circuit on the power
electronic, the corresponding fuse track will blow. If a power electronic is
replaced, the filter/control electronic must be checked and the fuse track must be
checked for continuity (see Section 010-4.9).
If damage to a fuse track is noted during a visual check or if the fuse track
resistance is infinite (i.e. no continuity), replace the filter/control electronic (see
Section 010-4.10).
