  • Page 6 Check the condition of the mains cord regularly. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the cord or the appliance itself is damaged. If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Page 7 Always return the appliance to a service centre authorised by Philips for examination or repair. Repair by unqualified people could cause an extremely hazardous situation for the user. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
  • Page 8 ENGLISH Follow this procedure for all attachments.To detach the attachments, turn the locking ring to the left and pull the attachment out of the handle. Unplug the appliance when you remove an attachment after or during styling.Avoid touching the metal and ceramic parts of the attachment, as they are hot.
  • Page 9 ENGLISH Make sure that the end of the lock is wound in the required direction. Open the clip after 5 to 10 seconds and remove the barrel from the hair. Let the curls cool down before combing, brushing or finger-combing the hair into its final style. You can comb the curls with your fingers to add volume.
  • Page 10 ENGLISH Triangular curls Connect the triangle attachment to the handle. Make sure that the stand is pointing downwards. Take a lock of hair, open the clip by pressing the lever and place the lock between the barrel and the clip (fig. 8). Release the lever and slide the barrel to the end of the lock.Then wind the lock round the barrel.
  • Page 11 ENGLISH Open the attachment by pressing the lever and place a lower section of the same lock of hair between the plates. Make sure there is an overlap. Repeat this process until you have reached the end of the lock. Let the crimps cool down.

  • Page 13 Make sure that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage. Perhaps the mains cord of the appliance is damaged. The mains cord must be replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Putarkan gelang kunci pada tangkai ke kanan sehingga anak panah tebal pada gelang kunci sejajar dengan anak panah pada tangkai. Alat sambung kini sudah terpasang rapi pada tangkainya (rajah 2). Ikuti prosedur ini bagi semua alat sambung.

Ambil segelung rambut, bukakan sepit dengan menekan tuil kemudian selitkan rambut di antara laras dengan sepit (rajah 5). Lepaskan tuil dan luncurkan laras ke hujung rambut. Kemudian lilitkan rambut di sekeliling laras.

Ambil segelung rambut, bukakan sepit dengan menekan tuil kemudian selitkan rambut di antara laras dengan sepit (rajah 7). Lepaskan tuil dan luncurkan laras ke hujung rambut. Kemudian lilitkan rambut di sekeliling laras mengikut bentuk pelingkar.
  • Page 19 BAHASA MELAYU Ikal sika-siku Pasangkan alat sambung sika-siku pada tangkai. Pastikan diriannya menghala ke bawah. Ambil segelung rambut, bukakan sepit dengan menekan tuil kemudian selitkan rambut di antara laras dengan sepit (rajah 9). Pastikan hujung rambut dililitkan mengikut arah yang dikehendaki. Bukakan sepit selepas 5 hingga 10 saat dan keluarkan laras daripada rambut.
  • Page 20 BAHASA MELAYU Rambut lurus Bukakan alat sambung pengetak/pelurus. Keluarkan plat satu demi satu dengan memegang hujungnya yang sejuk dan mencabutkannya daripada alat sambung (rajah 12). Terbalikkan plat dan luncurkannya kembali ke dalam alat sambung (rajah 13). Pastikan pinggir plat disisipkan dengan betul ke dalam alur. Anda kini telah menukarkan alat sambung pengetak menjadi alat sambung pelurus.
