4.6 Track switch, manual
The track switch is used in track systems where a change in direction is required during movement of the patient.
The track switch is operated by pulling the cords on either side - this change in direction must be carried out
before the client is guided into the drive switch area. The direction is changed, and the hoist will take the direction
to the side where the cord is pulled.
The track switch is mechanically secured against derailing.
