Air Conditioner Care (cont'd)
Refrigerant
Check the system's refrigerant
quantity at the inspection w in
dow near the radiator. Start the
engine and let it run at fast idle
with the air conditioner on for a
few minutes, then look through
the small window: continuous
bubbles or foam may indicate
low refrigerant, requiring the air
conditioner to be recharged by
your Acura dealer.
CAUTION: Prolonged use of an under-charged system may dam
age the compressor.
Lubrication
During the off-season, run your air conditioner for at least 10
minutes once a week to lubricate the seals and the inside of the
compressor.
