C R U I S E
Cruise Control Indicator Light (LS)
C O N T R O L
When the cruise control system is on, this indicator light is on (see
pages 26 and 27).
Hatch-open Indicator Light
This light will go on when you turn on the ignition switch if the
hatch is not fully closed.
Charging System Warning Light
The charging system
light comes on when there is a
problem
w ith
charging system or when the ig­
nition switch is turned on with
the engine not running. If the
light comes on while driving,
check the alternator belt for pro­
per tension. Push down on the
middle of the belt as shown; it
should have 7 — 10 mm (0.3 —
0.4 in) deflection under a force
of 98 N (22 lb).
Seat Belt Reminder Light
The seat belt reminder light comes on for approximately six
seconds when the ignition switch is turned on (See page 11).
PGM-FI Warning Light
This light comes on for a couple of seconds each time the ignition
is turned on. It will also come on, and remain on, if there is a
malfunction in the fuel injection system. If the light comes on while
driving, avoid driving at high speed, and have the system checked
by an Acura dealer as soon as possible.
Headlight Motor Warning Light
The headlight motor warning light will come on if either headlight
motor malfunctions during operation, causing it to lock for 3 or
more seconds or when the ignition switch is turned on with the
engine not running. (See page 96 for manual operation).
