The HC700-G does not contain user serviceable parts. However, the following sections provide
maintenance guidelines.
Cause
Problem in the HC700-G
operating system or
communications network
Unclean battery contacts.
HC700-G is not docked
properly in the cradle
Communication software
was incorrectly installed or
configured
Solution
Ensure proper battery installation in HC700-G.
Charge or replace the battery
Execute Warm Reset. The HC700-G should
function again
If HC700-G still does not respond, perform Cold
Reset (see). The operating system will re-boot in
30 seconds
Clean the battery contacts, see "Cleaning" on
page 122.
Make sure that the HC700-G is properly docked
in the cradle
Refer to your system administrator for program
installation or configuration
