to Adjust magazine:

j Squeeze the gate latch and
lift open gate.

k Open Magazine.

Lift and shift nail disk to accept
different length nails.
Note: Reference points on
magazine coincide with nail
lengths.

Place the nail coil in the maga-
zine.
y y
Always adjust magazine to
provide fasteners with correct
driving alignment. Failure to ad-
just the magazine will cause the
fasteners to not drive properly
and could result in injuries to
yourself and others.

Close magazine cover and gate.
Make sure gate is fully latched.
y y
With a Contact-Actuation
("Dual-Action") trigger, nails can
be driven two ways:
A
j Position workpiece contact
(safety element) against work
surface then
k pull trigger.
B
j Pull trigger, then
k push workpiece contact
(safety element) against work
surface. Each time you push
the workpiece contact (safety
element) against the work
surface, a fastener is driven.
This mode of operation is
preferred when you desire
high production, rapid fastener
placement.

With a Sequential Actuation
(Restrictive) trigger, fasteners
can only be driven one way.
y y
j Position workpiece contact
(safety element) against work
surface, then
k pull trigger.
This mode of operation is help-
ful when you require precise
fastener placement.
