ENGINE FAILED TO START
TEST 1 - Check Fuel Solenoid Signal
1. Turn SYSTEM switch to OFF.
2. Remove the 15 fuse from the system
control panel.
3. Disconnect Wire #14A from the fuel
solenoid.
4. Set meter to measure DC Voltage.
Connect positive (+) meter test lead to
wire (Figure 34,A).

5. Connect negative (-) meter test lead to
battery negative post (Figure 27,B).
6. Reinstall the 15 Amp fuse in the system
control panel.
7. Turn SYSTEM switch to AUTO.
8. While observing the meter reading, push
and hold the MANUAL OVER-RIDE
button. Battery voltage should be
measured.
• If battery voltage is measured, proceed
to TEST 3 - Check Ignition Coil
Signal.
• If no voltage is measured, proceed to
TEST 2 - Check SCP Output.
TEST 2 - Check SCP Output
WARNING
Utility voltage is present at the system
control panel board.
Use caution to avoid personal electrical shock
or damage to the system.
1. Turn SYSTEM switch to OFF.
2. Remove the 15 Amp fuse from the system
control panel.
3. Gain access to system control panel.

CONTROL PANEL ON PAGE 17.
4. Set meter to measure DC Voltage.
Connect positive (+) test lead to Pin #4,
Wire #14 (Figure 35).

5. Connect negative (-) meter test lead to
battery ground.
6. Reinstall the 15 Amp fuse in the system
control panel.
7. Turn the SYSTEM switch to AUTO.
8. While observing the meter reading, push
and hold the MANUAL OVER-RIDE
button. Battery Voltage should be
measured.
• If battery voltage is measured, proceed
to Step 9.
• If no voltage is measured and engine
cranks but does not start, replace the
system control panel.
