1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the I/O-board interposers.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
2 Remove the four screws (M2x3) that secure the fans to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3 Remove the coin-cell battery cable from the routing guides on the fans.
4 Lift the fans along with their cable, off the system board.
