S e t t i n g A u t o A n s w e r
This feature sets the phone to automatically pick up after 5 or 15 seconds. This feature
only works with the hands-free car kit and headset (must be purchased separately).
To activate this feature:
1. From the Standby mode, press MENU/OK to display the main menu.
2. Highlight S e t t i n g s and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight O t h e r s and press MENU/OK.
4. Highlight A u t o A n s w e r and press MENU/OK.
5. Select the menu under C a r K i t / H e a d s e t and press MENU/OK.
6. Highlight either 5 S e c o n d s or 1 5 S e c o n d s and press MENU/OK.
To deactivate this feature, select O f f at step 5 above.
A b b r e v i a t e d D i a l i n g
Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. If the last four digits you enter
do not match any stored phone book entry, the digits are automatically prepended with
the digits specified using the following steps.
To activate this feature:
1. From the Standby mode, press MENU/OK to display the main menu.
2. Highlight S e t t i n g s , and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight O t h e r s , and press MENU/OK.
4. Highlight A b b r e v . D i a l , and press MENU/OK.
5. Select E n a b l e , and press MENU/OK.
6. Enter a six-digit number, and press MENU/OK.
If you want to deactivate this feature, select D i s a b l e at step 5 above.
Tip: If you enter less than 6 digits, the display shows a warning message. See page 2 0 for using this
feature.

To turn the Turbo Button of the Headset On or Off.
1. From the Standby mode, press MENU/OK to display the main menu.
2. Highlight S e t t i n g s , and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight O t h e r s , and press MENU/OK.
4. Highlight H e a d s e t M o d e , and press MENU/OK.
5. Select O n or O f f and press MENU/OK.
