3.1.2 Selecting an address
If you know at least a part of the address, this is the quickest way to select your destination.
Using the same screen, you can find an address by entering the following information:

The exact address, including the house number, see page 27

The center of a town, see page 29

The midpoint of a street, see page 29

An intersection, see page 30

Any of the above, starting the search with the ZIP code, see page 30.
3.1.2.1 Entering an address
To enter an address as the destination, perform the following steps:
1. Press the navigation hardkey button to access the Navigation menu.
2. Tap .
3. Select the country by performing the following steps:
a. By default, the Alpine Navigation System proposes the country where you are or in case
there is no valid GPS position, the country of the last known position. If needed, tap
b. Start entering the first few letters of the country. The names that match the string appear in
a list.
c. To open the list, tap
1. Select a new town or ZIP code by performing the following steps:
a. Tap
