Changing the Number
To select among the 8 Tones within any Bank, press one of the NUMBER buttons (1—8).
The indicator on whichever button you have pressed will light, and the Tone's number is shown
in the display.

When you play the keyboard you will now hear the Tone you just selected.

Selecting Variations
Some Tones also include alternate versions of the basic sound. Such alternate versions are
called "Variations." Note, however, that while some Tones might provide several Variations,
others will have none at all.
Press the VARIATION button to select the first Variation. The button's indicator will light.
VARIATION
* If the Tone does not provide a Variation, no change in the sound occurs, and the indicator
will not light.
When there are several Variations, press the VARIATION button enough times to select them.
After the last available Variation, you are returned to the original Tone when VARIATION is
pressed again. (The VARIATION button indicator will go out.)
You are also returned to the original Tone if the Tone is called up again by pressing either UP or
DOWN, or one of the NUMBER buttons.
