8. FAT Button (
p. 15)
Pressed to turn the 'Fatness feature' ON/OFF. When ON, notes one octave lower than those
actually played will be added, making the overall sound much fatter.
9. MASTER Button (
Press this button to make settings which affect the overall performance of the SK-50.
10. MIDI Button (
Hold this button down to make settings for MIDI.
11. PART Button (
Hold this button down while you press either the DOWN or UP button to select the Part to be
played by the keyboard.
The particular sound (Tone) to be played on the keyboard is specified by means of the BANK Select,
NUMBER, and VARIATION buttons.
12. VARIATION Button (
Some Tones provide a Variation (a slightly different nuance of the basic Tone). When this button
is pressed (and the current Tone contains a Variation), that Variation will be selected.
When there is more than one Variation, each press of the button selects another Variation.
After the last available Variation has been selected, pressing this button returns you to the
original Tone.
13. BANK Selection Buttons (
Pressed to select among the Tone Banks. Eight Tones are contained within each Bank (1-16).
The Drum Sets are stored in Banks "d1" and "d2".
14. NUMBER Buttons (
Pressed to select the desired Tones from within the Banks (or Drum Sets within Banks "d1" and
"d2").
